Divorce involving child custody especially impacts girls

Divorce in Michigan is understandably tough on parents, especially if they do not see eye to eye on important matters involving the kids. It is now being said that disputes about issues such as child custody and visitation are also difficult on any kids involved, particularly girls. Divorce appears to be the hardest on girls for a number of reasons.

Last time, we wrote about a case in which a mother was unsuccessful in her bid to remove the judge handling an ongoing child custody dispute between her and her ex-husband. As we noted, the request for removal of the judge was based on allegations that the judge was biased toward the husband.
